Two of us, on the way home

The creative process of Otoha Takenami begins by documenting beautiful sceneries she finds while out on a walk, then tailoring the image into a "State that is true to her memory," and finally rendering it as a landscape painting.

Otoha's paintings give us a glimpse of the "Fleeting moments in scenery" that change over time, captured in a square canvas. The experience leaves us with a pleasant sense of movement and passage of time, reminiscent of light and wind passing through, waves forming, or leaves swaying.
